Here are some tips to know about the Toyota Camry model before buying such a ride.


Brief History and Introduction on Toyota Camry.

 The Toyota Camry is a popular family car; known for its excellent reliability and good sale value. The history of The Toyota Camry started with the Toyota Celina. The Camry name was introduced in Japan in January 1980; the Camry was built at the Tsutsumi plant in Toyota City, Japan, and at TMMK in Georgetown, ky.

The Early models of Toyota Camry were narrow-body compacts cars. They later became models morphed into wide-body midsize: but Toyota manufactured both narrow and wide-body versions during the early 1990s and 2000s.

 The Toyota Camry gains its popularity due to its comfortable ride and reliability. In 1983, car and driver called it a nice car, well four-wheeled that one can drive with ease and no fear.

The first generation of Toyota Camry was manufactured with a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that generated 92hp; in 1987, the second generation of Toyota Camry was manufactured with a 2.0L four-cylinder engine which utilized fuel injection and engineering prowess which increases output to 115hp.

In 1988, the second generation, the Camry version model was designed on a V6 engine, a 2.5L, 24 valve power train with dual overhead camshafts.

 Between 1992 and 1994, the third generation of Toyota Camry was designed; this comes with a new dimension midsize, with 2.2L four-cylinder engine that could make 130hp and 3.0L V6 that dished out 185hp.

 In the year 1997 -2001, the fourth generation of the Toyota Camry trend in terms of model, stretching out its capacity to new 2.2L four-cylinder engine dished out 133hp with V6 engine which increases output to 194hp, by 2001.

 A new set of features occur in the interior, which comes with a CD player with a stereo system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and so on. In the year 2002, the Camry continues to grow most especially in size with four new cylinder engines made of 157hp and 162 lb-fit.  The current generation of Toyota Camry starts from 2011 till date; which comes with decreased bodyweight, more lovely design with gasoline four-cylinder engine, an advanced Entune infotainment system with the navigation system, and an attractive redesign on the interior and exterior structure

The Toyota Camry 2015 comes with four levels of trims; LE, SE, XSE and XLE. The Camry LE and XLE have a comfortable ride with relaxed handling, while SE and XSE provide a slightly firmer ride with composed cornering abilities and sharper steering.

2. Toyota Camry 2016 :

The Toyota Camry SE comes with leather upholstery and alloy wheels. The Special Edition Toyota Camry provide satellite radio, keyless entry and push button start. The XSE and XLE version trims gives good engine of four – six cylinder engine.

3. Toyota Camry 2017 :

The 2017 Toyota Camry comes in four trims ; LE, SE, XLE and XSE. The LE comes with standard tech features, the SE version improve in performance like steering wheel with paddle shifters. The XSE comes with wireless smartphone charging. The XLE comes with good leather upholstery, upgraded interior trim.
