Seven Daily Practices for a Spotless Skin

Different schools of thought have arisen as to having spotless skin. Some school thinks that spotless skin is a thing of the DNA, others attribute skin glow to the use of expensive skincare products. These schools of thought are not right.

Having beautiful and spotless skin is majorly dependent on the care you give it. Finding the right skincare routine that works for your skin is a good start for that spotless skin you desire.

In this article, I will be exposing you to some daily practices for healthy and beautiful skin.  

Cleansing

Never rule out the importance of cleansing or washing your skin day and night as it helps to prevent clogged pores and acne. Raw milk works as a natural facial cleanser.   

Toning

Toning helps to remove excess oils and dead skin cells. In finding a good toner for your skin, some of the natural ingredients you should look out for are green tea, rose water, vitamin E, and vitamin C.

Exfoliating

Exfoliating regularly also helps to remove dead skin cells and excess oil, and a natural way to exfoliate is using avocado as a facemask.  

Moisturizing 

As the name implies, it keeps your skin moisturized, that is, it prevents your skin from getting too dry. Getting a good moisturizer that contains vitamin E, glycerin, pro-vitamin B, the borage seed oil is perfect for your daytime skin glow.   Protect your skin from sunlight.  Excess sunlight might not only cause your skin to burn, but it can also cause the skin to age prematurely. So when next you are stepping out this summer, never forget to take your sunglass, sunscreen, summer hat, or even an umbrella with you.  

Diet

Have you heard the saying that "you are what you eat"? Yes, what you diet on goes a long way to reflect on your skin. Hence, planning out a healthy and balanced diet should be part of your intentional routine for radiant skin. Avoiding processed and sugar-filled foods and limiting alcohol intake may also help improve skin health. Food and fruits such as salmon, watermelon, walnut, carrots, tomatoes, avocado do not only serve as antioxidants, some of them help to remove blemishes and scars, while some contain essential vitamins your skin cannot wait to have for that youthful glow.   

Water

Ever wondered why doctors recommend drinking plenty of water daily? yes, it is that important for maintaining homeostasis. Well, water is also important for the skin, it helps to transport nutrients and oxygen to the skin cells. It also helps to clear the toxins that cause inflammation and blemishes on the skin.   

Sleep

Do you know your skin has a way of screaming out if it lacked sleep? Aside from helping you stay mentally and physically healthy, it prevents dullness of the skin and dark circles around the corner of the eye. Need glowing skin? get sufficient sleep daily.
